Questions to ponder:
1. Who do you say that Jesus is and who are you to Jesus?
2. Who we are to Jesus impacts on who we are and what we do. Where do you see yourself in your faith journey currently, and what might it look like in 3 years?
3. What does building up the body of Christ, the church, look like to you now in terms of her physical, emotional, mental, spiritual growth? What would you hope to see in 3 years?
Prayer: God of all and the whole, we give you thanks for the birth of the church and for the various types of leadership needed to grow the church. We humbly beseech your power to awaken your faithful ones to claim and honor your presence, to follow and pass on Jesus’ teachings, to practice your steadfast love and compassion, and encourage all the siblings in Christ through words and deeds, for the sake of your kingdom. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
