Key verse: “But you, O Lord, are gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger, and full of kindness and truth." Psalm 86:15
“Through such works you have taught your people that the righteous must be kind, and you have filled your children with good hope, because you give repentance for sins.” Wisdom of Solomon 12:19
Questions to ponder:
1. Who has influenced you or guided you to see and go through the tension between good and evil in life?
2. How would you like to be an influential person in your community to build up endurance and perseverance while facing tension and celebrating life as well?
3. What opportunities do you have in life now to practice being an influential person? What challenges might you face? How would you overcome them?
Prayer: God of righteousness and kindness, instill your goodness in us lavishly whenever we come before you in the midst of our own fear, anxiety, guilt, shame, or doubt. May we be the agents of your church to live out the salvation we have in and through our Lord Jesus Christ, humbly, courageously, and faithfully. Amen.
