Scriptures: 2 Timothy 4:6-8, 16-18; Luke 18:9-14
Key verse: “For all exalting themselves will be humbled, but all humbling themselves will be exalted.” (Luke 18:14b)

1. Where do we see a culture of self-exaltation?
2. Why did Jesus denounce and reject self-exaltation?
3. What may be the impact of humbling oneself on a community? Think of some ways in which you can foster a humble culture in your context, a community and a society, that promotes self-exaltation!
